Stopping in York, just had dinner in the hotel and it was 70 fecking squid! Scallops n belly pork to start, fillet then cheese board plus a bottle of plonk to last me 2 nights (yeah, right)...thank feck I'm on expenses but I think I may have to utilise the "you expect a single woman to head off into a strange town on her own to find somewhere cheaper" when I put my claim in!  |

Yeah, she suggested Subway 
Dinner is included in the overnight, but it's £27 allowance...looking at the restaurant menu, the cheapest 3 course I could possibly get is £27.50. I reckon I'll be having a panini in the bar tomoz  |

Then again, I have several people in other places I've been promising to visit for ages, and I'm up to my ears in study commitments.
