20% off at asos where there's a few things I wanted anyway is the only thing that's caught my eye. Otherwise it's stuff I don't want, because if did want it I'd have bought it already. |

I shall give it a miss this year, i was somewhat misled last year.
When i got home the wife asked if i had snagged a bargain. Yeah, i said, i got some lovely trousers with 50% off.
"They're shorts, darling."
What is she after i thought what with the unusual endearments. |

Well the shopping centre I work has just turned to chaos!!!
600+ all queuing until it hit midnight, then they all stampede'd the doors.
A few now gone hospital, 4 arrested, 12 police officers now on site to assist (when they should be out patrolling and dealing with more important calls)
Tesco only had one security officer on duty to keep order in store.
Whole things a joke!!!!
Amazes me how stupid people get just for a sale!!! |

I know its wrong to laugh but I've just been reading on the BBC news website how people are behaving. Jumping over shelving displays, screaming, refusing to leave stores when they've sold out. Stealing from each others trolleys. Fights and abuse and stores having to close, crowd control officers in place. You'd think we where a pack of wild animals not human beings |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I've booked my car service for February with 30% off and got a friend's birthday present with 20% off in shops where everyone was behaving quite normally.
I couldn't get the hotels I wanted as they were sold out |

What's this black Friday shite ? Did it start with a plague? Or is it a plague and why are people fighting in a supermarket for duck sake ? It must have something to do with Christmas I'm thinking. |

Why do we feel we have saved money when we go out and buy something that we already have . Surely to god it would save more money to just keep the one we have and not spend our cash . We all work our tits off to make ends met . We work more hours than we have to ourselves. Then we go out and buy stuff we already have . Why not just work less and spend less and have more time with our children and families? Feck the sales. |

All who participate are just puppets dancing to the tune of the international retail conglomerates! Stop, think, save your cash for what you need, not what you are told you need. |

You also need to stop anyone else buying it in case they sell out.
Good luck with your purchase. |

NEWS JSUT IN ......
Tensions have grown today in the USA, as reports began to emerge that members of the Police Department had shot and killed Black Friday.
Black Friday, the day following Thanksgiving, is traditionally known as the start of the Christmas shopping period in America. Many stores open early, and offer huge discounts leading to a massive surge in customers throughout the day. However, this huge increase in trade has on occasion resulted in violent outbursts from shoppers, leading many retailers to express concern and increase security for the day.
Following 911 calls yesterday from stores warning police that Black Friday was approaching, officers across all 50 states began firing their weapons until emergency services pronounced Black Friday to be dead. Calenders rolled straight into Saturday the 29th, causing a huge social upheaval which many fear will escalate into violent riots.
“Black Friday is a peaceful day, never did any harm to anybody, but all of a sudden the police just roll up and shoot it dead” said one furious shopper.
“They’ll say they were just responding to a 911 call from concerned stores, but there’s 51 other Fridays every year that don’t get shot, and you and I know both know why; ’cause they ain’t Black Friday. You don’t ever hear about cops shooting no Good Friday”.
Following the incident, the United States Justice department issued a statement in which it praised the bravery of the officers involved, and urged people across the nation to be calm following the unfortunate event.
“Early on Thanksgiving, we received calls from stores expressing their concern for the safety of both their staff and their customers, due to the impending arrival of Black Friday” said Jarrod Mackenzie, spokesperson for the Justice Department.
“Our officers quickly dealt with the situation, but when Black Friday continued to approach they had no choice but to resolve the matter using deadly force. People must appreciate the dangers faced by officers on duty, and I urge citizens to remain calm during these times”.
Protests are expected to continue across the Thanksgiving weekend, as it was reported that officers involved in the shooting are to face no charges. |

"I have just watched the news footage...has everyone's television broken, that they need to scrap in a supermarket to get a new one?? "
Was shocked at the footage on the news, people trampling over others who had fallen over just so they could get to a television or an electrical appliance a bit quicker.
Another note on consumerism, there was a story in the news that ISIS fighters in Syria can't do without their cans of redbull, nike trainers and packets of pringles which all come from the west which they are meant to despise and reject? Funny old world. |

Some of the footage that's been doing the rounds is disgusting...but doubt it'll be any different next year if the shops have some stock they need to shift because it's been taking up valuable warehouse space! How can people even know that they're getting a bargain when they're too busy punching people that have already been pushed to the floor to read the price tags. Worst thing is these people will feel no shame and will see the dents in their cheapo tv as some kind of badges of honour |

You just know these are the same people who queued for miles at 3am during the fuel blockade for 2 more gallons.
Tell you what if there ever is a real problem in this country and the power goes off and the food goes short, I fucking dread to think what utter chaos would descend with them hslfwits in society. |
