Hmmmmm - having been told that the ratio of single men/single women on here was roughly 50:1 I conducted a quick experiment. Browsing the PR postcode I looked to see how many single males and single fems were currently online. The result was 5 women and 46 men.
Although a lot, this would indicate a ratio of 10:1 rather than 50:1!
Just wondered guys and girls - is it the same in your area? Xx |

I think 1in 10 is a more realistic eatimate in most areas then. If it was really 1in 50 I just don't think men would bother. X |

I'd probably agree.
I'm thankful that many don't or are just timewasters, it means more fun for those of us that are genuine.  |

I've done similar when I'm bored and it is a lot nearer to your 1-10 than some of the frankly ludicrous stats that get bandied around on here.
Factor in how weak some of the opposition is (for want of a better term) and that in effect they eliminate themselves and it's not the massive imbalance many claim it to be |

True - and take the ones out who haven't actually got the bottle to meet anyone - though they ask you for months - and it's probably more like 1 in 3! Xx |

I did a thread on this with a similar sort of quick survey earlier in the year, and a few other people did the same. It was 7:1 here, but the other figures were about 10:1.
The people who bandy 100:1 figures about are just trying to justify their lack of success. |

Whilst I know its annoying that there are a lot of cheating men pretending to be single (not the case here to be clear), us single men also have to put up with a lot a of fake single women profiles. I've so far never bothered with Veri's as it feels like ebay feedback +++good buyer+++ but I can see that I maybe need to ask for veri's in the future |
