Speaking in singular as a couple immediately sets my alarm bells ringing.
You can get a cam verification, but to be honest, I ignore cam ones.

Not being verified is not a bar to meeting. If it were, then noone would have any verifications. Look at other issues that may be hampering you. |

As others say, get out to clubs and socials or meet people from here socially - these are opportunities to get verified.
Also, enhance your profile with photographs of the two of you, as your profile is for a couple and users will want to see the two of you, to determine attraction, for a potential sexual meet.
There are lots of sociable users who are fairly local to you - even the West Midlands is just over an hour away from Sheffield, so there's a massive catchment area for you to explore.

Consider his pics to be essential for meeting couples and females and that users will have a choice of your profile or others that will have public male pics. They don't have to be facial etc and can crop to make them less easy for people who know you to recognise you.
Look at this thread and ask some if they'd meet socially to verify you. |

We've only been on a few months, but already have veris, and that's despite me being short, bald and ugly. Oh, and not having face pics cos of my job - (always willing to wear a paper bag on my head if it helps though)
Suggest intersting pics, willingness to chat, and just get to know the people local to you, especially where your profiles seem to overlap

It's just my onion but
You have to put the work in to get verified and its cheeky to ask without any work being done, almost cheating if you've got less than 3 months of being on the site and not putting in a grind
