On a recent trip to my local Aldi (yes Aldi, supermarket of the year) I left the store to return to my car and found a well dressed couple with the boot of their BMW raised. They were actually taking goods out of their Aldi shopping bags and transferring them into M&S shopping bags. The saddest case of hubris I've ever seen. |

Christ, as if anyone cares! Pretty sure people admire thriftyness more than careless spending. People pretending they are something that they are not. Id rather go asda and get "whoopsies" and keep my money for treats, kids, weekends away, theme parks
I have a family member who does nothing but brag about what shes spending, where shes been/going....I know she doesn't earn that much to pay for her extravagant lifestyle. It's all going to go tits up in the end |
