Saw a recent documentary with Brian Cox and Brian Blessed, those two together would make for an interesting evening.

It was part of the space themed week on BBC 4 and they were discussing their love for science fiction/time travel and the future. Worth a watch. Maybe iplayer?

BARRY

I met him at Cardiff Comicon last year! Top bloke!

I also heckled him - he was autographing something for someone and I shouted "GORDON'S ALIVE!" which seemed to flick a switch in his head and he instantly raised his head and shouted it out back! Then he shouted "DIIIIVE!!" like some kind of Brian Blesses tourettes - which would be interesting!!

Could you image Brian Blessed and Oliver Reed in the same room getting on the beers!

Both no longer with us but a few beers with George Best and Alex Higgins could be quite an experience! Two very much larger than life people. Matt

Ranulph fiennes. Old school adventurer.

Matt Damon. An interesting funny and intelligent guy.

Michael Collins. Just to ask him how it felt to get that close but with no cigar
