"No because I've already overspent this month (a lot ) and I'd like to be able to eat for the next two weeks. And what would you like to eat...crisp sarnies? "
No, I'm dieting, just to make a change. I'm eating neither crisps nor bread and I'm struggling to resist the Toblerone in the cupboard.
I seem to be eating a lot of chicken with stir fried veg and tuna salads. |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
"I thought our Black Friday was the one just before Christmas.
I don't think we have one, technically. We've borrowed America's. The Friday after Thanksgiving."
I just Googled it. Amazon brought it over and the other stores jumped on it.
In York its what we call the Friday before Xmas because its when all the offices break up and everyone gets seriously pissed. |

If it involves going anywhere near a shopping centre, not a chance.
On-line might be a possibility, but this just sounds like some kind of copy an American idea to get people to buy more stuff that they don't, actually, need? |

"Buying things at a discount? Hell, no!"
Seems an odd position to take on the face of it, but I'm sure you have your reasons.
Will you be advocating "puce tuesday" in February when random prices go up for a day? |

Why are people acting as if great reductions and saving money is a bad thing
Odd
I don't have any big presents to buy so probably won't partake but it's making me think I shouldn't have bought my new laptop last weekend |

"I thought our Black Friday was the one just before Christmas."
Black Friday is an idea taken from America, it's just a sale day where loads of things are dirt cheap..
Our Black Friday or mad Friday it's called in Halifax is the last Friday before Christmas where everyone goes out and gets smashed, |

What else you eating and what exercise are you doing? I'll tell you exactly what to do and eat for 10 weeks to lose up to 24lb or more depending on what you've got to lose and maintain it. Losing weight is the easy part it's maintenance that's hard.
Are you taking any extra vitamins or protein shakes? Whey isolate protein shakes (isolate cos it has no gluten and better for fat loss) if you get this stuff called mct oil and put a bit in a shake first thing in the morning it will keep you full for most the day. Psyllium husk capsules will keep you regular (good to have a poo every day!) drink at least 3litres of water per day will help you stay full cos sometimes people confuse hunger with thirst. Eat raw celery cos it's good for your blood pressure.
If you're not a member of a gym you can do body weight exercises at home, try exercises for your core, search youtube for plank exercises, I plank in the house with a rucksack full of dumbbells on my back whilst I'm watching tv, I'll try and hold it for the length of the adverts. Or just tell me to piss off and mind my own business! |
