have i been gone so long i have missed something????
a majority of profiles i have read now have a small warning note at the bottom about use of photographs.
has there been a problem where people are doing this?
needless to say i have copy and pasted.

this all started in the usa in swinging site blogs and as we all know across there they will take any one to court if the as much as sneeze in there direction
needless to say i have copy and pasted.

We've got a paragraph in the FAQ about this:
We've noticed a legal disclaimer paragraph that some people have on their profiles, should we have one too? What are they about? Do they do any good?
It is pointless and all the legal disclaimer does is take up extra space on our servers.
Our best advice is: Don't put on your public profile any pics you don't want strangers to see. Set them to private and PM to people you want to see them or set to friends only. Similarly, don't put any information on your public profile that you don't want people to see or Google. That will do what a toothless legal notice won't do, which is to keep the information you want to be private, private. Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example.
Tip: you can set your profile to be hidden from search engines on your privacy page but for various reasons (some search engines ignore the tag we use, for starters) common sense advice would be NOT to put any information on your profile (here, or on any such site) that could identify you! So for your own benefit, don't post phone numbers, real names or email / instant message addresses on your profile. |

Soo.. let me get this right then lol.
Someone steals your profile.. and or your pictures.. Then posts them.. Who the fluck do you chase to take to court lol??
Then your going to sit in court and say.. ner ner ner.. he stole my pictures pmsl..

Well some tabloids does pick up random pictures they got or find to use. Someone from here may have their picture in a tabloid or blog etc...etc...without permission in articles about swingers and sexual activities...like some pictures of bdsm...it's probably does nothing...but at lease they try...:D...and reduce the risks...:D |

I was under impression that if your pix were in private knowone could get them unless friend .In which case surely it would be someone upon your friends list yes .;-) x |
