I'd tell myself that my parents are complete arseholes and will never change and don't waste the next 15 years trying to get their love and approval.
I'd probably also suggest moving to London or at least away from Brum. And find a job chasing my dreams
And that running is much cheaper and rewarding than cycling! |

Lots if people say that and I understand it in a way but youth us about being foolish, making mistakes, learning etc none of us spring fully formed on the world at 18. Celebrate youth, be a little tolerant of it, don't envy it and where possible guide instead of ridicule. |

Invest in Yahoo, Microsoft and Google. Other than that, half the fun was learning on our own and not listening to advice. If we listened to advice, we probably wouldn't even be on this website. ( It would have been a very boring life.) |

In my case I would need to go back a few more years and it would be mother and stepfather.
I would also say, don't get married at 19.

Sorry, we took it down for the winter so it won't get damaged. ( It's inflatable so we'll probably set it up a couple of times in our living room.) |
