What should be a 20 min journey to work is now an hour and a half thanks to the divine wisdom of the local authorities. It's painful.
The only upside is getting to see yummy mummies at this time of the morning

Bolton to stalybridge for me. 23 miles. 1.5 hrs there, sometimes 2 hrs back. My record is 4 hours, but that was due to a suicide bid from Prestwich flyover. |

Have the same problem. Croft lane at Pilsworth has been shut for over 5 months for gas main repairs, causing everyone to use other motorway exits, East lancs having repairs. Major junction at the bottom of Bolton road had roadworks, and not to mention the 2 year, 50mph speed limit on the m62. Add in the odd crash or bad weather and a little event called Christmas to back things up, and it'll be a dream of a route |

yeah meant the m60. My geography isn't great. It'll be there for 2 years, they have not started work as that have to let traffic adjust to the new road conditions. pfff |

The East Lancs has been a car park since they started the work for this guided busway from Leigh and through Tyldesley, plus there is roadworks in Leigh town centre.. It makes me glad I'm heading the opposite way down the Lancs! |

It's so smart it apparently doesn't need anyone to install it. Be honest, in the last 4 months has anyone seen any workforce doing anything during the traffic jams? |
