not sure what the point of this show is....I thought it was going to be about the cases they investigated etc but it just seems to be showing what a sexist employer the police were in the old days.

I met a nice copper today. Not a sexist bone in his body and he even gave me a lift back to the office (no flashing lights as that would have been wrong).
The title made me think this was one of those films from the '70s.
