I used to wear long johns when i done ground work/building, you would be working in bloody cold conditions so you were glad of them.
A lot of builders wear tights for the same reason it keeps them warm but i think thats just kinky lol. |

And as for all the 'it's just wrong' comments, let me tell you all that bright patterned and coloured leggings were not originally made for women. They were first sold in the 70's in climbing shops for rock gymnasts. Being skin tight meant it was possible to see exact foot placement, and the colours made the climbers stand out on the rock. |

Well I guess, that would be me knackered.
Mine are black, so not a much use for standing out, but as they are used for cycling and rowing they do avoid my clothing getting tangled on the bike or the boat.
