should I hold my breath

Got a question

I've a meet arranged for this morning, met him before and he is a lovely man. However he's now not been online for about 18hrs. Am I being too cynical thinking today now probably won't happen?

People get cold feet, but until the time comes and he hasn't arrived you can't discount him.

I'm sure it feels hard, but you never really knew him so you haven't truly lost anything. Don't dwell, get out and do something to get sidetracked.

If you've met before, I'd certainly give him the chance to turn up......just because he's not been online, doesn't mean he's bailed.

Is he meant to be coming to yours or are you going to his?

If he has your address or you his - I can't see any reason to worry about sharing numbers.

Download Kik app, it's like messenger and it's works via wifi/4G on a user name basis, no numbers exchanged.

I don't meet anyone without swapping numbers. If I trust somebody enough to meet and have fun with them then I trust them with my phone number

You can buy a pay as you go sim for a pound then put ten quid on it, that's a lot of text messages. I'd never consider a meet with someone if I didn't have their number.

When I said I can't see any reason - I meant no reason not to exchange numbers!

Especially if it's a repeat meet!

(And you live in an area populated by leopards!

That makes more sense now, was thinking last time leopards attacked me there was not much opportunity to text, but a leper may hold back while you cancel a meet.

If he hasn't been online for a while and that is the only way you can get in touch then I would be thinking maybe something has come up in real life.

If you had swopped numbers and he had to cancel for some reason then he could have got in touch that way if he cant get the internet.
