It takes time for the roots to die so it's not immediate and though it lasts for quite a while it's not permanent.
It feels kinda like someone is pinging an elastic band against your skin.
It only works if there is colour in the hair - it doesn't work on grey/white hair and is less effective on blonde hair. It's most effective on dark hair against pale skin. |

"Just thinking about going for laser on my bikini area as I fed up waxing and don't do shaving.
Has anyone any advice or experience?
Mrs D "
Laser hair removal isn't cheap and you will require a course of between 6 and 8 treatments as the hair grows in stages but obviously not all the same rate
It isn't permanent but does slow down the hair growth in the area treated. It hurts a bit but it passes |

If, by laser, you are talking of IPL yes it's painful and expensive.
However if by laser you mean diode it's completely pain free.
Just as expensive if not more so, however for either you can find groupons/wowchers from time to time. |

I've had it over my whole body...Full legs, arms, extended bikini. It doesn't completely get rid of the hair...that's a misconception it makes it much much lighter and easier to manage though.... my arms no longer make me self conscious and I don't worry about my bikini on holidays now as it is barely visible...legs still need shaving though |
