I have a lot of people know my name but I might not know or remember theirs. I don't forget the faces so I end up feeling my way around until I get to the point where either I just ask or I have enough clues to guess where they are from.

Yep.

Also had a long conversation with someone once who turned out to be not who I thought they were.

Haven't a clue who they were but they seemed friendly enough.

I do it all the time,

I usually find out it was someone from a place I have worked, They look totally different in normal clothes

All the time... In my job I meet loads of people, and they seem quite good at remembering me. I generally click when I work out where I met them though.

I was in my local bar a while ago and a woman waved at me through the window. I waved back not sure who she was.. Turned out she is the lady who weighs us at slimming world

I get this all too often. A lot of people remember me and say hello and chat. I'm rubbish at names and faces. It's very embarrassing at times.

I also get this in drab mode, people I used to go to school with remembering me.
