think your confusing children in need with comic relief and sports relief.

also its a TV program, no ones asking you to donate. You pay for the program via your tv license regardless of if you watch or not

They recieve fucking millions, its incredible. Im just being the usual grumpy fart really. The people of the UK deserve a massive pat on the back. I chucked my £2.50 in the bucket but now I know I should of got a selfie with the 6ft, lanky yellow bear.

Haha, it would of gone someway to proving.

I'd rather the kids in The UK got the big big proportion but knowing some go to Africa for eg, wont stop me donating the little bit that I do.

As above, kids are kids. Not their fault where they are born.

I think huge companies and maybe the Govt could do a bit more though.

So fire your potato at me, see if I care. But sleep easy knowing some child could of ate that. (tongue poke smiley)

It's not in the constitution of CiN so the money can't be spent like that. Don't forget the reason that CiN can say that the money all goes to the causes is this is supported by the licence fee to some extent.

"Won't be on in our house as we don't support it.

Really?

From the CiN website:

"Every penny from the money you raise or donate will go towards helping disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK. We are able to make this promise because we use investment income and Gift Aid to cover all running costs, meaning that you can be sure your money makes a real difference."

Why people have to be negative about charity fundraising - whether for the UK or abroad - i'll never know!

I know, it's not as if they have to contribute. With so many channels of media available they don't even have to come across it.

We can't all support every charity. We all make choices about whether to support any charities at all and if we do, which ones.

Your posts have been rather bah humbug about CiN, which is your _iew and you can post that. It doesn't need to affect you though.
