"Why should I? They've never bought me one.
My cats bring me presents all the time. Half a rat, a beheaded pigeon, a half dead bird
I get the odd spleen or wing but that's it." don't say they don't think of you then |

We get a lot of rabbit paws and tips of ears...sometimes if they aren't hungry we'll just get a beheaded rabbit |

I buy my cat a stocking. I get my mums dog a stocking too. Everyone else gets treats why not the pets too plus it means they can have the treats while you eat xmas dinner.

Yep. I don't have children so my two doggies will be spoilt rotten. Only problem is they now think every wrapped pressie is for them, so can't leave anything under the tree anymore as it is quickly (and skillfully) unwrapped lol |

I never used to but now my kids make me as apparently it is their Christmas too. So the whiskers cat stocking gets bought as do some toys thet I hate buying because she never plays with so I always end up throw them out. But hey it makes my babies happy so I don't mind really |

Yep. The cat gets kitty crack (catnip) and toys, the dog gets toys and food treats (and will be having a roast on xmas day) and has got her own xmas jumper! The koi don't get anything as the wrapping paper would just get soggy and clog the filter!

Careful with those advent treats. Every morning your dog gets his choc and by the 3rd day it's a routine and by the 5th it's a full on choc addiction. After Xmas he'll have to go cold turkey! |

"my cat is a Muslim and my goldfish is a Jehovah Witness, so neither needs Christmas presents.
but muslims celebrate christmas, so...
None of the Muslims I know do"
Buying presents and putting up a tree isn't celebrating Christmas. I know Sikhs who put trees up and give presents. It's family get together time for them. My muslim neighbors get a tin of Roses from me |

I don't really have a cat or a goldfish, but all previous pets showed no sign of being religious at all. |

I used to buy mine a stocking. My children buy their pets presents; the cat has already had hers. The dogs will get something on Christmas day and they will have a lot of turkey for dinner. |

Sounds lovely, rabbits are much more intersting pets than some people realise |

One of the dogs brings me presents:
My half eaten phone charger.
His saliva soaked soft toy (on my face).
His ball for me to throw.
A chip (no idea what he wanted me to do with that). |

Not the smaller animals but the dog we have bought loads for, we don't have kids yet and I think it's sweet although he's a sod for ripping so both our parents and all our siblings have also bought him presents and I've insisted that they wrap them for him so he can enjoy opening them. He's undergoing a lot of treatment at the moment so we feel sorry for him |
