I say the first few years as there are many things we have all seen. But what life changing events happened in your early years?

For me

Homosexuality being legalised

Abortion being legalised

The contraceptive pill being readily available to all women

Mass extinction of the dinosaurs, those fuckers were everywhere, not safe to go out, and I have to say, the world became a better place without them.

The assassination of Julius Ceaser, Oh how we laughed.

I still did the 11 plus and we were the last to do CSE's so I guess either the 11 plus only stopped at certain schools or they brought it back?

Northampton

The recession in the early 80's.. when I was 7 or 8.

I remember me, mum and dad went christmas shopping at one of the supermarkets, and noticing they only bought the bare essentials, and being aware for the first time that money truly was a precious commodity.

I learned a lot that christmas.
