...all you stealth browsers turn off private viewing.
I never have it on and anyone can see who I have been perving ....ahem...taking an interest in.
However, it often starts conversations and I think it is a good thing.
So, come on everybody, front up and let the Fab world know where you have been.

The fact that anyone looks at the profile...even to decide no...can be a positive thing.
The guys who are always asking whybthey dont get replies may be happier if they know that you have at least looked. If you do it in private they can think they have been ignored.

I'm not sure about this...
How is it better to see the number of people that look and then decide not to message?
It is just another form of finding out how many people reject you?
I'd far rather focus on the people who chat and match than the ones that decide not to.
I don't check who winks, looks at me or any of that - I'd rather go by a decent profile and then see where it goes over messages than worry about who is looking but not taking it further. |

Hi, just noticed you looked at my profile....
I have enough unsolicited mail to actually invite more.
If I was a single male, I probably wouldn't be in stealth mode, but it is different for men/women/couples. |

Many of the profiles we view are off the back of incoming messages from totally incompatible people, after reading forum posts/status updates, viewing suspicious photos, or simply through browsing.
Many end up on our block list.
Many we will never want to view again.
Some we may message - but the majority we won't due to lack of interest/attraction.
You don't know anything about a profile til you view it. And once viewed you often wish you hadn't!! Wanting someone to know we'd looked? Not in a million years!

Yea, exactly so!! Most of the profiles I view I have no desire to chat to, so I'd rather they didn't know I viewed, it would only encourage unwanted attention. |

Stealth mode all the way for me, I sometimes look at a profile more than once or twice, sometimes by mstake but mainly on purpose. Anyway my fabs normally give the game away |

ive seen quite a few guys in the forum have looked at my profile and I sometimes message em saying "Haha caught you peeking" im pretty certain most are not interested in t'girls but just being curious and all of them have taken the joke well and most tell me I look good but not into t'girls,lol

As I replied to a poster on another thread who wondered why it was mainly guys who were looking at him, "I think most ladies prefer to  perve so they don't get a barrage of "I see you looked at me" messages"
I personally couldn't give 2 hoots who has looked at me, if they like what they see they will either wink or message |

Do you all look at who's viewed your profile then? It never really occurs to me to do that. If they've viewed and liked it they'll be in touch, if they've viewed and not contacted me then I'm not for them or they were just being nosy (95% of my profile viewing is just having a bit of a neb). If they've viewed every 3 minutes for the past 2 months and not contacted me, I'd rather not know.
And surely that applies whether you're male, female or couple. |

We keep our views of profiles private. Things are simply much easier this way. Too many people think a quick look is the same as an invitation or a declaration of interest. That is what winks and messages are for. |

We're all here with differing needs and circumstances so it's better to find what works for you and respect that others won't be the same. Tracks on or off is part of the filtering that helps keep the site successful as well as users comfortable about who is in contact with them.
If you need reassurance and validation that you're of interest to others then fab may be a tough place for you. Just keep your focus on how to find and attract who you need. |
