Theres no way they can compete with Merry Hill, so unless theres something substantially different or cheaper (with free parking), its never going to improve- its a similar story in numerous towns |

Love Dudley! So much character which a lot of towns do not have! Infact as a child i could see the castle on a clear day looking outside my bedroom window. |

Planners are idiots
Councillors are deluded idiots
It's not just dudley it's the same everywhere, they just can't see it's a new game with the internet and the old school town centres are history. Shops are almost already pretty much finished and in a few years the offices will follow.
I think it will probably be a reverse back to an older era like weaver cottages, where you'll get specialist items made and sold from the premises people live in.

Not lived round here long but out of the places i have Dudleys the best ,love the fact you can see the castle on the hill when youre walking through the town and do enjoy a browse round the shops on a saturday.definitely needs more shops though. big fan of little italy and river island ha x |
