"Newcastle kitten cuddlers required, so says BBC.
That has got to be one of the nicest voluntary jobs out there.
If we dressed up as kittens could we get cuddled?"
I'm guessing there's a market for that in London, I'm totally confident there is in Japan though too, allsorts of crazy shenanigans over there! |

I was reading this the other day, apparently there's a huge number of semi-feral cats being brought in and they want to socialise the kittens to be suitable for rehoming.
It's so unbelievably tempting, but I don't know if I could do it without wanting to take them all home with me and ending up with even more cats...
I think there's a cat cafe in London where you can go and hang around with cats over a cup of coffee. |

I saw this on the local news.. Volunteers spend time stroking and socialising the kittens for a couple of hours.
It improves their chance of being homed.
Was v cute! |

There's a dog one too not far from me.
There's even one to mingle with grannies.

Yep, this would be me...I get my cats from RSPCA/Animal Concern/Rescue and I already have to zoom past Facebook posts of various kittens and cats or I'd be the Simpsons Cat Lady to the power of 10....it's a fabulous opportunity for volunteering (and we do have it round here) but I daren't do it |

I would do it if I could wear a csi style suit and take piriton. I'm allergic to cat hair and a lot of dog hair too (I have a greyhound and had to wean my self off the piriton with her) but I adore all animals |

"Anywhere in the midlands I can do something like this? "
Yea, would be great and we could make a fab social of it. I've only got next door's tom who pops in for a cuddle, sine mine died and some kitten petting would be great. |
