In summer my neighbours bins are by my fence and i get flies in my kitchen well I have got some big ass flies in my kitchen again . It's not hot so don't know why . But the old neighbours buried their big dog in the garden a couple years back and the new neighbours are digging up the raised bed and the decking do you think it could be that ?

Sorry for being gross

People really shouldn't bury pets in their gardens. They invariably make a comeback.

Did they just dig a hole and drop it in there or did they make sure it was a deep enough hole ?

I am a pest controller , the flies you are talking about are , cluster flies , its this time of year that they are looking for refuge , its nothing to do with the dog , they hibernate in your loft space , when they are in there they lay a pheromone which encourages the next infestation to go to your loft space , they lay theireggs in the grass outside , when they hatch they fly into the roof space because of the pheromone , the only way to stop them is to have them treated professionally , hope this helps , xxxx any questions please ask , xxxx

Our bin gets emptied every two weeks and in the summer we have problems with flies.

I want to chuck the lot on the councils

doorstep .

There must be more flies due to bad collections

My Own Little World

The weather has been pretty warm recently so it hasn't killed off the flies nor are they hibernating yet, so the bloody irritating things are coming into the house where it is a bit warmer.

I think I have about 20 buzzing around at the minute.

Where's the fly spray??
