"Done most of my shopping already "
Me too, spent 3 hours wrapping yesterday and its not even made a dent.
Just an xbox one to pick up later in the week and I'm all done. First time ever cos I'm usually still out shopping on Christmas eve |

"The reason I ask is I'm looking for a Christmas wreath to purchase this month for next month to hang outside my front door and I'm just wondering if anyone knew of anyone that does quirky ones "
Why don't you make one?? I'm thinking of getting a plain wooden one and spraying it silver and have stars and snowflakes and shiny glittery thing s on it, I hands down accept it will probably look terrible!!! (Making my ideas real is a massive downfall of mine) but it will be orginal!!!! |

I'm waiting for a date to go in for surgery so I've had to do it early. For the first time in years I'm actually looking forward to Christmas so might start early every year from now on |

Do a Google search for ideas. There are loads of brilliant ideas on craft sites and some are really easy. You'd have one as quirky as you like then, and totally original. |

I've found some beautiful patterns for Christmas trees and ornaments made using fabric and a traditional technique which I think is called a star fold.
The Christmas trees are made by pinning the fabric to a polystyrene cone.
I want to make some if I have some spare time.
At the moment my new course, and having to care for my cat, who is poorly again, are kicking my arse. |

"Talk about Christmas yet? "
Yes indeedy! We're getting a bit worried that we haven't got enough xmas films on our Sky planner to keep us in full festive mode, so I'm going up into the loft to get the "xmas dvds" box. I wish they'd do a remake of Santa Claus the Movie. |

I loooooooove Christmas! Can't wait!!!!
I did go in Tesco the other day with my kids who saw the massive Christmas tree up there.
They both said "WOWWWW!" like proper wide eyes little kids.
Then one said (very loudly) "But it's not Christmas yet?"
And the other said "It's still Halloween!!"
Made me laugh. |

Yes I think it should be allowed now!
Started our christmas present shopping today! And the shopping center was pretty quiet which made it a more pleasant chore |

We've got our Christmas stuff in at work now so will have to display it soon. As for making wreaths etc it's very therapeutic, I went to our local woods last year and got fir cones and cut small branches off trees and made two, hardly cost me anything. |
