I find punctuation more perturbing to be honest .... I sometimes feel I'm gonna die from not pausing while reading. Commas and full stops prevent this !! Spelling does not bother me too much . I think if people know the point of the post, spelling should pale into insignificance . We all have a voice however it's heard. |

I think there is a difference between the odd spelling or grammatical error (ok acceptable) and wholesale terrible spelling and such as for text speak (or speech you decide) I'm not opposed to it as lng as da hole ting aint ful ov txt spk den itz jus get on meh titz |

You need a comma between the main clause and the subordinate clause. The subordinate clause begins with the gerund in that sentence. |

I used to be a volunteer at an adult community college x
I really do have better things to be worrying about.
