I bought a CD by Jane's Addiction yesterday and the checkout screen was trying to convince me that 'People who shopped for this item also looked at.....'

Why not? The sound quality of CDs is still far above download music....

Unless you have the money to buy exensive equipment to hear those high quality CDs, mp3s at 256 are fine. I make music and people can't tell the difference from a 128, 256 and 320 mp3 file. Plus the mastering it's too loud on CDs and music nowadays so it's not always 'higher quality' you hear, it's just loud. Early CDs were good and sounded nice to be fair. |

No, it's eBay. Their suggestion for a similar item was Jane McDonald, the cruise ship woman. James Addiction is the only gig I've been to where I gave up on the mosh pit at the front as it was too crazy...I don't think you get that on a cruise liner |

Once youve been listenin to 320 bit mp3s for a while you can certainly notice the difference. And no way is cd quality better than 320 |
