okay..... here is ya chance to educated the masses again....

there has got to be programs that are not on any of the 5 main channels out there that are "must see"..... so here is just chance to list some....

okay... ahem....

I am a huge fan of "Australian Masterchef".... it is fantastic!!!! better than our version and that is saying something...

also a shout out for "chuck" which is on virgin 1... quirky comedy action drama

also can i give a shout out to a programme that i don't think is even on TV in the UK...

"its always sunny in Philadelphia"

which is brilliantly funny.......

"Australian Masterchef".

I'm sorry.

I really am.

And i am NOT trying to start an internet forum fight.

I really am not.

But "Great Television" and "Australian Masterchef" do NOT belong in the same sentence!!!

And they never will.

Go and watch "The Wire" and then come back.

sorry "The Wire" is on BBC2.... you can't have that!!!

okay... how about "Entourage" is that okay for you???

I would have said "the deadliest Catch" but that is on Channel 4 these days.....

I only bring it up as a subject because BskyB have just bought the entire HBO TV back Catalouge for a princly sum... which means that almost every half decent american series won't be on normal UK tele anymore... for example:

The Suprano's, The Wire, Sex and the City, Entourage, Curb your Enthusiam, true blood, band of brothers,

Download 'em for free of 'tinernet and watch them at your leisure.

I've just watched The Wire from beginning to end that way.

If your after the best the Americans have done then get a copy of Breaking Bad. Harrowing, emotional hard hitting but the best i have seen in a long long time.

There's one on at the moment on Bravo, I can't remember the name, shame I don't have Sky, apparently it's about the Spartans, more sex in this program than any DVD on the top shelf. I wonder if they'll show it on BBC1 that's the TV channel nothing to do with black men.

You on about Blood and Sand. It was fun to watch, full of debauchery and blood and guts. Not high drama but enjoyable all the same.

mad men is fantastic.....

just to give you a heads up they are actually starting the whole series from the beginning on BBC Two starting Aug 8....

Have to say that Cougar Town does make me laugh a lot... Courtney Cox is back to being sex, and i have fancied all the women in it in my time so it is like my fantasy programme....

Mad men is pretty slick i have to say. You really want to have a go at Breaking Bad though if you like hard hitting drama and character interaction. It blows you away although its heavy with it.
