Fred wedlock... oldest swinger in town.

That line about taking her home in your hairy little car and finding out you went to school with her ma and pa... That really hit me hard!

Quite a lot of Sigur Ros does that to me. Saeglopur springs to mind.

Some of the music used at the end of Scrubs did too.... Colin Hay - Waiting for my real life to begin

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Lucky Star from Singin in the Rain. It was my parents' song and was played at both their funerals.

Baz Luhrman - everybody's free to wear sunscreen.

Lyrics to that song really are true.

Also The Connells - '74-'75

The video to that song is powerful. Goes to show how life is completely different once you leave school.

I Had A Dream - Gary Moore.

The guitar solo is heart wrenching, some of the most emotive I've ever heard.

Just where I need to be.

Nine inch nails Right Where It belongs V2

Through the loss of my unborn baby, deciding to end my marriage this was played repeatedly. I did look in the mirror and I wasn't the person I wanted to be. I cry at this song but now tears of happiness as I have unlocked the cage.

You're life is safe and you're doing everything you're expected to do, everything is how it's "supposed to be" but you feel empty inside. And how could you not when you've limited yourself like this - when you've put yourself in a cage by caging the animal inside of you?
