I've just been listenin to a radio discussion about how men and women view cat calling. (- I.e. wolf whistling, general comments/compliments to women by random men in the street).
The chat show was discussing if women liked it? Find it derogatory? Or even see it as harassment?! .
I personally think depending hw its done. Women quite like compliments. Afterall u do put effort into lookin good, so why nt enjoy the attention you get. Or am I wrong?
Was just wondering what people think. Is it really commonplace. And hw do u feel when it happens |

When I received unwanted attention, I feel exposed and vulnerable. It doesn't make me feel desirable. It also makes me dislike the person doing it as they haven't assessed the situation or considered my feelings. |

It doesn't happen to me now but when I was younger it would happen a lot and I would go out of my way rather than walk past a building site.
I also had men (complete strangers) believing they could make comments to me such as "you don't get many of those to a pound love"
"have you got a licence for those"
"I wouldn't be worried about my hair with tits like that"
I could go on.
That isn't complimentary |

also why on earth do you think women make themselves look good in order for men to shout at them in the street? |

"Yes, cat calling..
"""Oi darlin' show us yer tits!"""
Classy.... ...not!"
Lol!
Also "I'd give yer one" as if they're doing you a favour .
I remember once passing a group of very well mannered workmen who all stopped and said "hello, how are you?" |

I think it depends a lot on my mood at the time but, if I've made the effort and it's appreciated by others, I'll take that! (as my profile states quite honestly, Im no tall skinny supermodel so, for me personally, I'd definitely give a smile at harmless banter!) |
