After growing up in the smog that was emitted from a chicken processing plant....the smell well , not a great one..

Fast forward some years now at grown up status pmsl...

My village has two factories and on certain days the aroma is of chocolate dipped chipboard, believe me it ain't unpleasant it's just plain weird....

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

cow shit, the odd train, a few cars and the countryside.

MAMOBA is not always the most fragrant place on earth... but I'm kinda fond of it. lol

Depending on the time of year and what the farmers are doing lol cow poo, the earth, freshly cut silage, hay, straw, animals......all the smells of the countryside.

Then we have the sea air which I love, especially during rough weather as you can taste the salt on your lips.

I used to pass the Mars factory on my way to and from school as a kid. And the sewage works if the wind was blowing the wrong way.

Mostly in GU24

There isn't a smell anywhere as bad as the one we had every day when I was growing up.

A tannery. Bleugh.

One of our teachers accused us of letting a stink bomb off. We hadn't, but we all got detention.

I wonder how he felt when he discovered the real cause of the stink?

Grew up in a country village so mainly fresh clean crisp air until it was silage / muck spreading time then the village smelt like shit for a few weeks

Fast foward to now and I still live in a village (albeit a different one) so pretty much as above
