"Paignton or Whitby. Love both places "
Whitby's beautiful, goth weekend there this coming weekend.
I don't live my hometown, but I love it here in N Yorks, 10 mins to the moors, 10 mins to the beach, and Leeds or Newcastle less than an hour. |

"Wales.... Lovely places there.... But am thinking I would miss London too much so maybe a holiday cottage in Wales would be the way ta go! Best of both Worlds "
We could swap. I live by the coast and want to live in London but fear I'd miss the sea air too much |

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire) |
Somewhere within easy reach of edinburgh or glasgow within scotland (I like visiting cities, but don't want to stay in one - am currently 3 or 4 hours from either)
or liverpool for the football! lol
Although the idea of a wee cosy cottage somewhere very rural also appeals to me! |

I have no interest in living anywhere else. I have lived in various places in London, also Bristol, Bath and Cornwall. Where I live now is idyllic. How many peoples local pub is on the beach? |

York. Liverpool. North or West London. Bury. Blackpool. Bolton. Scarborough. Cheltenham. Idk, probably anywhere half decent with places to go.
Chorley is cruddy. And smells of sewage half the time. |

"Iona, in a small cottage overlooking the sea." The highlands are beautiful but can be very
barren in parts more rock than trees
spent 2 weeks touring the highlands beautiful landscape but to see the greenery returning on way back to Inverness was beautiful and badly
Missed by myself the lochs in those Areas go on for miles... |

Ridiculous. 60 odd replies and only 2 for the lake district.
Everyone knows its the most beautiful place on earth.
That said I live in Blackpool doesn't take much scenery to impress me! |
