no it doesn't, rental does not contribute to turnover unless a service charge is applied, both our businesses have been vat registered for years and 1 has had a vat inquiry visit from the horrors and the areas we rent out to sub contractors weather registered or not do not, its nice to win an argument with them |

no it doesn't, rental does not contribute to turnover unless a service charge is applied, both our businesses have been vat registered for years and 1 has had a vat inquiry visit from the horrors and the areas we rent out to sub contractors weather registered or not do not, its nice to win an argument with them "
people do it because
by opting to charge VAT on the rents they can recover VAT on the costs they incur in relation to that building. I don't know a great deal about it though just in relation to the properties I deal with at work do I may be wrong. |
