I know its a strange one but it is The Lounge!
I'm travelling to Thorpe Park later in the summer and also spending a day in London (three days/two nights).
Arriving late Sunday afternoon/evening, going to Thorpe Park on Monday and a few things in London on Tuesday not leaving until early evening.
My dilemma is:-
Am I best staying in Staines (for two nights) and making my way there on Sunday afternoon to be nice and early for Thorpe Park on Monday and making the trek back to London on Tuesday morning....
or .....
Stay in London and trek across to Staines on Monday morning and back in the evening to be ready to go in London on Tuesday.
I've thought of both possibilities and either way is a pain in the arse at some point.
Accommodation is same cost for both Premier Inn and Travelodge.
My gut feeling is stay in London at the Premier Inn as they are so mich nicer.
Any advice from somebody nearer and in the know???
Thanks in advance.

"I do not which part of the London the hotel is, however, if it is anywhere near the centre, then good luck with the driving! "
Hi Pearl
That's why it was so complicated. I'm not driving doing it all on public transport (within a tight budget).
Staying at the Docklands so close to the DLR, then tube to Waterloo, train to Staines, Express bus to Thorpe Park. All a bit of a faff but I'm sure it will be worth it. |

"Premier Inns are so much better than Travelodges. If they're the same price...there's no decision at all."
My thoughts exactly. Will be a faff on the Monday morning and evening but Premier v's Travelodge will be so worth it.
