Watching the news is shows footage of this guy bumping into David Cameron.
He didnt see him and didnt even know he was in Leeds, by all accounts, was on his way to the gym apparently.
Im calling bullshit, I think he did it as a joke/LAD thing. If so, stupid thing to do.
If not, stupid thing to do |

He didn't look dressed for jogging did he and he was jogging very haphazardly to veer into DC. Strangely enough though , his stunt has highlighted that his protection isn't fantastically organised is it ? |

I know I must be wrong in what I have said as he was held for a short while and released so no threat whatsoever and a total accident.
DC looked scared, understandable. This could of been a lot worse.
I dont vote for anyone incase anyone thinks I'm a DC bumchum |

"Now if he had done that in America he would have been more than held for a little while! "
He would have shot, sent to guantanimo if he was still alive, then put in prison. |

"He totally meant to run into him, idiot!
How they let him say otherwise is beyond me "
That was my first thoughts and still is. They let him go in the hope no one would mention the security blunder for letting this happen maybe. |

I'm glad our politicians and priminister don't walk around with an armed cavalcade and hundreds of minders. This is Blighty after all and not Russia , America or the Balkans. |

standard reaction to get distracted and turn the way you are looking when running, especially if you have headphones in and are on a different planet at the time, I'm sure that while he was arrested his background and story was quickly checked out. |

But is does show that we are not over the top about it. Whole blocks are shut off in America even if a minor politician fancies popping out for a bit. |

"In the perfect world they wouldn't have to.
In this current climate though you can't be careful enough.
This could of been so much worse but thankfully it wasn't serious."
How much damage could a jogger possibly do ? |

Well if they are carrying a knife and hell bent on using it.
It was a jogger, just a jogger. But what if?
You could have all kind of nutters looking at this and thinking 'damn, all these lengthy plans to carry out terrorism, we could just run at him and get through his circle'. |

Only an idiot would go jogging carrying a knife. It could be dangerous if they slipped and fell. |

Thats coz the Americans top boy got his head blown off and don't want it happening again . They have easy access to weaponry so it makes sense to take no chances unlike our twatish pm and his slack protection team... |

"A lot of David Cameron fans on this thread!
People making something out of nothing just because it's David! What if he had a knife?!?
Well he didn't
"
Just as well can you imagine the headlines... "PM stabs local jogger" |

I asked that question.
What if he did have a knife, we would of had another dead person stabbed on our streets. This one happened to be the PM, but like Lee Rigby he has a family.
There is more chance of someone trying to stab DC than anyone else isn't there? |

I'd hazard a guess wretched Bliar would be well ahead of Cameron in any such list. I wonder if said jogger pulled voff the old poisoned poppy pin trick ? |

David Cameron does do a lot of jogging himself does'nt he.
Besides MI5 are probably now teaching him secret deadly martial arts self defence techniques in case this sort of thing happens again. Either that or get John Prescott in to teach him how to throw a couple of Jabs (float like a bee and sting like a butterfly ). |

I think its very funny...
Since Plebgate it has been obvious that our government has had the Met squarely in their sights and has been looking for payback.
Seems that the boys of the Met's SO1 who are expected to take a bullet for callmedave and other ministers are not quite so enthusiastic as they once were...
Wonder if we will be seeing a change in attitude to the Met from Cambourn and co ?
