"Did you count how many times he said "Bradshaws guide" in his train programme? " #
No,he annoyed me too much to count that, if you were guiding a group of people you would never quote your source, but always qualify your facts, if required to |

"there should be more like him on television, at least he can talk properly and knows how to dress."
He can laugh at himself aswel, is on "This week" programme after question time most thursday nights, Andrew Neil always introduces him as Michael Choo Choo Portillo. |

No not realy, his tailor was shit, his shoulders are off and his jacket does not sit properly, therefore he does not dress correctly. |

"He's style is much admired. Class is inherited not taught "
Yet he still is found annoying, nothing to do with class, just his presentation style, i.e, the repetition of the oft repeated " Bradshaw's Guide " is a good example, but hey if you like |

"love the programme and really like him also " . Hardly ever watch TV unless having a meal. Great programme and I like him as well. No interest in how he dresses . Would love to travel on some of his journeys .

I recall a satirical programme once listing all of his extra positions and jobs when he was an MP. The list was huge. They ended by saying that if you, as a constituent, had trouble getting in touch with him, then this list was why. |
