Haven't seen it but could it be regarded as a criminal assault? Sounds like what he deserves.

Disgraceful.

The referee was hospitalised and may still be in there.

The other boxer, blue, didn't help did he, couldn't get out of there fast enough. Maybe he should be reprimanded.

Not sure why you think the opponent should be punished for not being involved in a violent situation? Had he started throwing punches too it would have exacerbated the incident. The boxer in blue remained very professional in my opinion.

So, say you saw a man being violently assaulted next to you in the street and you could help but chose to run away. Is that OK?

The boxer in blue could've prevented further blows on the referee.

i think the guy in blue did the right thing - kept well away from the trouble - enough people helping the ref and onto the bad fella

If I saw someone being assaulted I'd call the police right away. The boxer in blue could seet there were security who did a great job in rushing in and pulling the attacker away. I don't understand why you think someone should be punished for keeping composed and professional.

did you watch him walk back to his corner - not overly steady on his feet - refs can see in their eyes if the fight needs to be stopped
