I often get the feeling that a lot of threads are created to generate interest in a profile. Some whine, some are deliberately controversial, some are grenades with the pin pulled to generally wind people up.
Notwithstanding the daily "whats wrong with me, take a look at my profile" thread, what is the most bizarre thread you have seen that you thought was really a look at me thread?

Couldn't this thread you have made be seen as whining as well? - about what others choose to post? Surely people can post about what they want. Even if it is just to generate interest in their profile? |

I'm all for look at me threads, often doing it myself, just wondered how many seem to be by stealth.
I am a strong advocate of people using the site how they wish.
Cock snot was one of the most random threads though... |

I really don't take That much interest. I can't remember threads from this morning unless they come up in my recent threads list. All threads are look at me imo |

I really like the forum, some threads you can sort of tell who the attention seekers are or at least it looks like, think I was reading one called single men and it was a couple moaning about single men messaging them, users on here said change settings to stop them messaging but the op wasn't having any of it. It just looked a bit pointless cos they had a problem, were given the simplest solution but didn't wanna know!

Definitely the goodbye ones.. They come back anyway no actually gives that much of a flying fuck!
I do think some of the threads get out of hand because some certain cliques like to belittle anyone that isnt a regular on here |

the rants about certain parts of the community, only 1% read the forum so they are totally pointless...
then we have the 'single guy appreciation' threads and people pop up saying how lovely they are, then on the very next 'I have had a nasty message from a very, very, very bad man'thread, the same people then join in slagging off single guys and you think you are helping the madness as you won't change the behaviour on the forums |

What would make the forum even better, something for admin and site owners to consider  . It's probably already been mentioned before but it would be really good if you could edit your post rather than have to delete it and write another one, useful for me cos in always on my phone an sometimes autocorrect has me a treat! Also the function to upload a picture, handy for those threads where it's like, show your ass, boobs, willy, balloon knot, if you haven't got that many pictures on your profile you could just whip one straight up! |

I agree with your last comment.
Most people are just having a little fun and want some interaction. I don't think every thread is a look at me thread as said earlier, obviously people will look if you post a thread but I don't think that's a motive for everyone. |

The key is to get people looking for the right reason, namely that you interest them. A lot of people fall quite catastrophically at that particular hurdle |

I don't mind the look at me threads.The ones that I roll my eyes are the perfectly good ones that get turned into an argument by people who want give the impression they never do anything wrong in their lives. It has been like an east end pub cliche with some of the kick offs recently...
Some of the kick off society are having a field day. There again, some of the sucking up to people society have been quite active!

The single guy threads asking to see all the beautiful large/small breasts because he is astounded by how amazing the women on here are.
The women all want to surpass each other in the beauty and popularity stakes so they will change avatars to impress, or open up private pictures etc. Had the guy simply posted a 'who will fuck me' thread then these same women wouldn't have given him the time of day. |
