Boy cat is not well and I'd have had to cancel. Either that or I'd already have left and not been here to take him to the vet.

poor boy cat is in pain and can't have any more pain meds until this evening.

Very generous. Sure there are a few of us staying in each hotel so taxis shouldn't be too expensive, might be worth seeing how many people are staying where. I'm more than happy to get a taxi, saves you messing about - ladies first too
