Anyone experienced a random message from a stranger on kik? My friend says she gets loads of random hellos etc

Do people really take random guesses at usernames to start a conversation??

I've done that a couple times. Never came to anything tho. The responses I got weren't very nice

There is a chat search on kik, u can search a tag eg where u live and ppl who tagged themselves in tht will come up

Really, how? Is that just the username search? Only shows if they have that tag in their username?

Always completely innocent conversation though as you have no idea who's on the other end
