They won't is the simplest answer.

When you think about the amount of legally owned firearms that may be registers in the US compared to how many of these incidents there are..............,

That doesn't make it any less tragic, don't get me wrong but every time we hear of these tragedies, there's outcry for better gun control but there's so much revenue involved it'll never happen.

Surely a tightly regulated firearms system is better than an even bigger unregulated black market in gun dealing?

The NRA demand that the gun laws in the USA are not changed...

Every US citizen or visitor to their country has the right to be shot by any gun toting maniac who has the money to buy a firearm.

One could say why should the responsible owner be banned from a hobby he/she enjoys because of the actions of a few?

Totally agree. The problem is there are to many irresponsible owners because they think it is their constitutional right to bear arms. It was not that long ago that an 8 year old killed an instructor on a range firing a machine gun. Why does an 8 year old need to know how to shoot a machine gun....

Absolutely agree there. I think that the powers that control such things have an impossible task in trying to keep both sides of the argument satisfied that things are as controlled as they can be. Sadly they can't totally control the moron element any more than they can restrict the law abiding.

They wont never see guns like we do,because it is written that you need a gun not to protect yourself from people, but from the government why the law was originally passed, but it has got stupid now, when you see kids being allowed 2 buy guns or getting 1 when you open a bank account...

"or getting 1 when you open a bank account..."

can see that being a bad idea, imagining the gun being used to rob the bank

You dont get bullets, you have 2 open a savings account for them...It is true though in some states you get a hunting rifle, when you join a bank..

Their gun laws can't be changed without tearing up the 2nd ammendment and removing their constitutional rights. No president will ever do that regardless of what noises they make.

US gun laws are fine up to a point, I have a CCP and am allowed to carry while I'm over there. My only issue is they way they store their guns as there's no requirement for them to be locked away while not being carried.

Also the number of ILLEGAL weapons on the street is ridiculous and having legal gun ownership makes them feel safe as they can protect themselves should they be threatened.

It's a tricky subject that doesn't have a simple answer...

I don't know about this current shooting, but to me the problem isn't gun control but the kids. What goes off in a "childs" head that makes them carry out such heinous crimes?
