What in your opinions makes a man, manly?
Jools love's a hairy chest.
But what's your thing, deep voice, stubble, politeness, stature, big arms, chest?
An endless list.
But in this era of guy's who spend more time preening themselves than a cat with ocd.
Do ladies still like rugged men,
Or does it have to be fake tan,enough hair gel to wallpaper a large room, chemically enhanced muscles, unnaturally smooth all over? Type.

I've no doubt that the majority of the forum ladies will say that they find old fashioned, hairy chested, big but slightly pudgy guys to be far more appealing than the bronzed and rippling muscle type, yet when you look at the verifications on here from the kind of girls who regularly make the sites most fabbed list, it's not unusual to see the beach bodied bodybuilders are the ones they go for. |

I like my men to be men, physically big shoulders, broad etc but I think its more the way they carry themselves independence, confidence, attitude...I think far too many men these days have been "pussy whipped" especially my generation |

Well I'm shocked at men being categorised like this!! We're not pieces of meat, we're all human beings, with feelings and personality definitely counts etc etc.
i.e. all of the things we'd be saying if this was a thread about women (and I say this from painful experience after a thread I started last night!!)

I like a man with a strong personality - because mine is very strong and I have NO desire to be a bully in any way. I like him to be intelligent and funny - even for a meet as my meets tend to become friends.
Physically i prefer at least as tall as me or pref taller, attractive face - nice eyes - and a body which has seen regular exercise even if they're not obsessed with it - as for me great sex should last for hours - and as sex is the only area i'm mildly submissive - the man needs a lot of stamina and self confidence to take the physical and mental lead in bed!

Very much so.
It is possible to still be manly without being politically incorrect, and chauvinistic.
Personally my opinion is the best way to act like a man /gentleman is to start by treating the woman like a lady.
Looks and appearance are worth nothing if you don't respect other's.
I would rather be an ugly gentleman than a goodlooking pig. |

Manly, to me, means you have a cock and balls. And a non-voluptuous figure. And can grow a full beard and tashe, if you wanted to.
They step up to responsibilities. Have patience and understanding. Don't tell lies. Aren't afraid to express themselves and stand up for what they believe in.

I love my mans broad shoulders and sexy thighs. Love that he is taller then me and physically stronger then me but would never use that in a negative way against me. Love his confidence without being full of himself. That he can do "manly" tasks but irons and cares for the children ect just as well. It's the person the body belongs too. Strength. Whether that's physical strength, (not necessarily bulk, I really love strong and lean men) or mental strength as in personality and someone you know you could rely on to just sort shit out. |

I like height in a guy, 6 foot or above even though I'm only 5'3 myself! I don't mind some facial hair but detest pubes especially ass pubes. Not fussed on massively hairy chests either! I like pretty looking guys Colin Farell as an example or the welsh rugby player mike phillips! |

It's a tough one if you don't have one type. I prefer taller, towards 6' and higher, lean and muscled, flexibly varied sexually, above 7" cock and 18-35 ish.
But I find others compelling too. Some short fit guys are for the taking. Blonde, dark haired all work. I mainly don't do very over weight.
Confidence, strength of character, thoughtful and determined all add to appeal. You may be a fit towie lad or a rough fighter, it can all work. |
