Get ya ass to France....
Fugitive nuns go on the run in France
Two 80-year-old nuns have gone on the run in France two weeks after being told that they were to be sent to a retirement home.
86-year-old Sister Marie-Daniel and 82-year-old Sister Saint-Denis fled their convent in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on July 12.
A third, 89-year-old nun, Sister Maurice-Marie, revealed that she too was planning to flee the Sisters of Saint-Joseph convent, but broke her leg just four days before the escape.
An insider at the French Riviera convent told the France-Soir newspaper that the nuns were annoyed at being 'put out to grass' after dedicating 50 years of their life to the nunnery.
The source said: 'They decided they wanted to jump before they were pushed.
'They would rather take their chances out in the world than have to live out their days in some far away rest home.'
The region's chief nun, Sister Colette Philibert, issued a plea to the fugitives, stating 'All we want is for our two dear sisters to make contact with us and return to the convent.'
