My birthday is coming up and I hadn't made plans (it's come around rather quick), so I thought I'd just take my folks out for a meal or something this weekend as it was their anniversary.

Got a message from a friend asking if I wanted to go to Camden this weekend but the thought of an evening of carnage without knowing where I'd stay, spending a fortune, having a monster hangover and having to go to work the next day isn't particularly appealing.

I must be getting old.

Friday after work with the folks, spend your birthday on Saturday with the friends then Sunday to start recovery? Country and Western. Although I worry for Camden!

Go out with your friends, birthdays are supposed to end in slight carnage. Book a hotel - then the where you're staying bit is sorted.
