Can't be doing with either of them. And I've tried them both.
I'm pretty much equidistant between a Morrisons, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco. Majority of time use Asda but use them all. |

"im lidl ..i used to be tesco but have lost the will to live with them with their 'mismanagement' of their accounts "
Does that really affect your shopping choice? Or are you a shareholder too? |

"Just signed up to a morrisons card .. seems they are going to match lidl and aldi with price. So this seems to be the best deal at the moment
"
Do you not wonder why they didn't do so previously.

"I've never understood why people say Lidl and Aldi are the cheapest? If I want cheap food, I go to Iceland.
(Before people moan about the quality, I don't care.... It's cheap ) "
and GM free too! |

I'm a tesco kind of guy, the clubcard points are really go for random hotel breaks or meals out. M&S otherwise. Not fussed wherever I shop though for a change. |

Waitrose delivery for main shop. But really like Lidyl for their charcuterie & cheese.
Re:Iceland which someone has mentioned, I'm sure I've recently read that all of their fresh produce is organic?!! Will have to research again.. |

I flit between them tho Morrison's increasingly as it's smaller than many, parking makes it easy to get in and out quickly. Tesco is a huge unpleasant bunker that has everything wrong about it. Low stock there and low quality for the wrong price. Liked their older smaller stores with cafes. |

Sainsbury and Tesco are closest to me but I'd rather travel further to Aldi as it saves me about £30 a week. A saving of £120 a month is not to be sniffed at. Especially when you calculate the savings over a year. |

Asda for most stuff and they've built a new one not far from where I do a cleaning job, Tesco's occasionally, Morrisons for my bread as I happen to like their own brand brown bread.
Thought Aldi was not all that and certainly not that cheap, not impressed with Lidl and its also not really convenient to me |

Somewhere in North Norfolk |
It varies. There are certain things I buy from specific supermarkets.
Soft drinks I get from Asda (because they use Sucralose not Aspartame).
Tuna I buy from Sainsbury's when it's on offer. Their own brand tins are 200g undrained rather than 160g or so of most other brands.
Things like washing liquid I buy from wherever has it on offer.
I'm fortunate to have Asda, Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons fairly close. I also have easy access to Sainsbury's and Waitrose once or twice each month.
There isn't a decent Lidl nearby though. |

Aldi for 90% Asda for the other 10% we cant yet get at Aldi, the food at Aldi is really good and getting better and the range is growing too.
The adds are right too... you save a bloody fortune no wonder the shite is hitting the Tesco fan serves them right! |

"We popped into an Aldi yesterday, never again. It was like shopping in the 70s but more chavvy!
Prefer M&S for fruit and Tesco and Morrisons for rest of shopping. "
The Aldi I use is in a fairly well off area. Lots of well to do people use it as well as students. |

"I'm using sainsbury today as Jack Daniels is reduced to £20 a litre. That's almost half price. I'm easily swayed by a bargain.
See if Gentleman Jack is on offer to!!! "
Unfortunately not. |

They used to be poor quality years ago but thst has very much changed. I used to have to go to sainsbury for half my shopping. That's no longer the case. |

Morrisons mostly, they're a reasonable balance of choice and convenience.
Asda & Lidl just depress the hell out of me, so I don't usually bother.
But I won't set foot in Tesco's - I hate everything that they stand for and their heavy-handed attitude and business practice.
