Why did you stick around a chat, instead of letting him piss in peace? Poor bloke was probably really embarrassed.

Was in hospital having a routine thingy done and chatted to a guy with a terminal illness. It was quite a light hearted chat and I made him and his good lady laugh and smile. Could that count as a good deed?

Certainly! Taking time out of your day to do something with/for someone and putting a smile on their face is a good deed in my book

Yeah, definitely. I was in recently and this old lady was discharged but stayed with me as no one could visit me. It was really nice and meant a lot.

Bedfordshire

I booked my dad a flight home a week earlier than planned. Good deed done and sanity will be restored!

PS. I love my dad with every fibre of my body, when he is home in Scotland

I didn't laugh when I had to meet one of my managers on site, a woman first time I had met her.

She bent over to stroke a cat that had started purring round her feet when she bent over she farted.

I didn't know what to do so I just ignored it and in typical English style carried on with the conversation to save her embarrassment.
