RIP Alvin Stardust.

Saw him live a few years ago at a Christmas do. He was a good entertainer and a good laugh.

There's a good story about why he had big sideburns and wore the gloves. I'm not sure what it is but I think it's something to do with hair dye.

I loved his song .... "hey u with the sad face , come up to my place n live it up! u beside the dancefloor why do u cry for? lets live it up!"

died this morning. (not tv show) his manager found him dead after a short illness.

I sang a solo with him when I was in the national youth choir when I was younger and he bought me a rainbow teddy.. Still have it to this day! Poor old Alvie!
