Whatever the context of each crime and accepting that they are both in different countries it seems bizarre to me that both got five years. In one case a person was shot to death and the other has more than a whiff of doubt about the circumstances. |

There seems to always be a whiff of doubt. I'm not clear on your point here.
Are you saying that convicted rapists should get less? Or more?
Or a conviction for the equivalence of manslaughter should be more or less than rapists?
