They perhaps assumed it wasn't going anywhere. With no pics and a lot of no's on a profile, there perhaps wasn't enough to sustain interest, although without being privy to the messages I could be totally wrong.

I've got at least 100 people on my block list and adding to it daily. I'll get a first message with pictures attached but not from someone I find attractive so I instantly delete, I'll get a second message asking why the delete, I'll say not my type, they'll start telling me that they are suitable for me and to give them a chance blah blah blah I'll say that I won't meet anyone I'm not attracted to and then I'll get abuse so I block. I don't block people after their first message but persistent messages from the same person or anyone giving me shit will get blocked.

The only people on my block list are people who have sent numerous messages when I haven't read the first one and people I know day to day.

We make it clear that we block anyone we aren't interested in , and ask others to do the same to us

I would never block someone without good reason

Usually if they are not taking no for an answer or if they have ignored a polite message from me..
