I need your opinion on something folks.

I've known this guy for 3 years, met him from here originally and yes I slept with him once.

I decided to get a new phone as I was bored with the iPhone 5. But stored my numbers in icloud. Sold my phone and got a new phone with a new number.

Logged into icloud to get my numbers, no numbers were saved which I found odd.

He doesn't have facw book, hardly logs on twitter and I canot find his email address(we hardly emailed as we always texted or spoke on the phone)

Anyway I know where he works, I don't know if it'll be stalkerish if I phoned up where he works (he's a manager)

I have some news to tell him, do I phone him up or leave it?

It would depend on what the news is. If it's something that won't affect his life then I wouldn't.

But if it's something that will affect his life then I would.

I wouldn't tell him over the phone though, I'd just call and ask to meet for a chat and tell him face to face.

If the news concerns him and he needs to know it then you've nothing to lose by calling. If however, its just something you want him to know and it's not really to do with him, then just walk away.

Haha if the condom split and if I was pregnant for 28 months, then maybe. But nope.

We are close friends otherwise I wouldn't be particularly bothered about getting in contact with him.

I wanted to let him know my Father passed away and that I given birth to my daughter 4 weeks ago, and no he isn't the dad. My boyfriend is, funnily enough.

Maybe he is THE DADDY - perhaps he's Ray Winstone.

I'd leave it, as it seems a bit invasive, personally. However, without knowing the ins and outs it is hard to say.

Maybe a note with your number and saying you lost his and you would love to catch up... Nothing incriminating just incase its accidentally open by a colleague of his.

The only thing is, he works in London and that's about 3 hours away from me, otherwise I would've handed a note to one of his colleagues to hand it to him.

You could possibly figure out his work email if there's a common one they use (like firstname.surname@company) - their website might have a few email links so you can see if there's a commonality. Obviously, I wouldn't send anything risque through it; just an 'I lost your number so feel free to send it in a reply'

I changed my number. No he didn't know my Dad but as we are close friends he'd want to know as I was very fond of my dad. He's not a typical lad he's quite laid back, down to earth and can be a sensitive person too.

If we were close enough for me to want to know their family news Id still be in touch with them.

As I said at the beginning I got a new number and thought iCloud saved all my numbers, and when I logged onto iCloud, there were no numbers so I'm basically fucked.

We don't see each other like that, we see each other as friends. It is possible to make friends off this site.

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

You want to tell him about something which happened 4 weeks ago yep you sound like close friends.

I take it you don't know where he lives.... so sending a card through the post is out.

I would guess a friend who you met on here would know you are still on here and thus know where to find you when he realises your number has changed.

But then again... you say he has twitter and even though he doesn't use it often, you could leave a message for when he does.

So in answer to the question....

If someone I only text messaged... once in a while... left a message at my place of work, I'd probably be changing my number too.

If you were close friends he'd know you'd have had the baby by now. . How long ago did you change numbers ? And if you are friends . . Why would contacting him at work with your new number be a problem ? There is something you've not mentioned that clearly makes this all a bit odd

I would leave it be, he's only a bloke off a swinging site, hardly a lifelong friend.

To be honest, if id just given birth, already had a steady partner and grieving over the loss of a parent, a bloke off a swinging site would be the last thing on my mind.

You have other more important priorities.

Lol, right so it's impossible to have friends from this site then? We don't see each other as "swingers" we see each other as friends. Doesn't matter as I got his number.

Not that it's any of your business I don't really have many friends due to different reasons and seeing as I get on well with this bloke from a swinger site, who left the site ages ago, I wanted to stay in contact, and luckily enough he found me.

You posted the thread OP, you asked for comments, I gave you mine.

It is rather odd that you are putting so much effort into finding and being in contact with this bloke off the internet. When I had a 4 week old my only fantasy was getting a full nights sleep.

But great that this guy got in touch with you, seeing that it seemed important to you.
