It's not often that I get chocked up by celebrity deaths but I work with cancer patients and when we set up our unit Linda did a charity night for us to raise much needed funds. She was friendly charismatic and called all the staff angels. Completely gutted to hear of her passing. |

I really admire her for saying enough is enough and cease the treatment, as someone who has witness somebody close die of this horrible affliction and go through all that awful chemotherapy for nothing, I was actually pleased when my father died for all the right reasons, it really was a blessed release for all parties.
I hope her last days were special for her and her family. |

That's so sad, 66 is no age to die. May you rest in peace Lynda, you have been such an inspiration speaking about cancer so bravely. She really did come across as a very warm and kind woman x |

One of the first older women I ever fancied. Always had a naughty look in her eye. I THINK she was in "confession s of a driving instructor". Not a lot of people know that. |

So incredibly sad. She wanted one more Christmas with her family, think it's tragic that her last wish couldn't be fulfilled.
She's out of the pain now though, she seemed like a very lovely and courageous lady. R.I.P |

Saw her on breakfast TV last week, still inspiring others and she had such a warm personality. Heaven has gained another angel tonight. RIP lovely lady. xx |
