Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you) |
I find that if I get my feet rubbed or my face stroked it makes me sleepy but the best thing I have is a weighted blanket which lies on my legs - that helps me stay asleep most of the night
I know Steve is right about the turning the television off or putting your phone down so your head gets calm down time before you go to sleep..... |

Avoid caffeine and stimulating tv before bed. Have a bath an hour before you want to go to bed and not too hot. If you're worried about something that will keep you awake. When you get in bed relax your body by deep breathing exercises ,in through your nose ,out through your mouth works for me. Relax your muscles by tensing them then relaxing as you deep breathe, starting from your feet, working up to your neck |

Make sure it's at least an hour before bedtime to give your body time to wind down. Hope you have a good night sleep tonight |

If you've got problems getting to sleep then try the Deep Relax (free) app any smartphone platform (no sexual innuendo intended) might help.
Works as a bit of meditation and relaxation at the same time, perfect for when your having trouble getting to sleep. |
